The At Home Designs Promise
When you purchase from us, we will waive all service charges for the first two years after purchase for any issues covered under the Hunter Douglas Lifetime Limited Warranty. We want you to be confident in your purchase, and know we are here for you should any issue arise.
Hunter Douglas Repairs
Your Hunter Douglas shades and blinds are comprised of many moving parts, which like tires on a car, can wear down over time. We are here to help you with all your Hunter Douglas repair needs, whether you purchased from us or elsewhere. Please review Hunter Douglas’ Lifetime Limited Warranty to understand what is and is not covered under warranty.
Please note there may be additional product-specific repair charges from Hunter Douglas, and we will do our best to inform you prior to committing.
While your Hunter Douglas window treatments may be under warranty, the warranty does not cover the dealer incurred expenses to take down or re-install your shade, or shipping to/from repair facilities if necessary. Below is a schedule of fees for both in-home and in-store repairs.
Full Service Repair – In Home: $190
Our staff will provide an on-site evaluation and repair. If we are unable to repair the window treatment in your home, we will take down, repair, and reinstall the window treatment. If required, we will also ship to and from the Hunter Douglas repair center.
Customer Return Repair – In Store
The customer will drop off the Hunter Douglas window treatment at our showroom and pick it up after the repair. The fees below include shipping to and from the Hunter Douglas repair center if required.
Repairs covered by warranty: $40 (shipping only)
Repairs not covered by warranty: $115
